Refund policy

Here’s a polished Return & Refund Policy based on your template, updated so that items are only returnable/refundable if they arrive damaged/defective (or wrong item), and the claim window is within 14 days of delivery.


Return & Refund Policy

We have a 14-day damage/defect return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return only if it arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item.

Eligibility for a return

Returns are accepted only in the following cases:

  • The item arrives damaged

  • The item is defective

  • You received the wrong item

To be eligible, the item must be in the same condition you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

How to start a return

To start a return request, contact us at amrit@amritpaldesign.com within 14 days of delivery.
Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos/videos of the damage/defect (and packaging if possible)

  • A brief description of the issue

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package.
Returns must be requested and approved before sending. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


No returns for other reasons

Except for items that arrive damaged/defective or are incorrect, we do not accept returns or exchanges, including (but not limited to):

  • Change of mind

  • Size/fit issues

  • Preference issues

  • Accidental orders

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage caused after delivery due to misuse or mishandling


Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges

We only replace items if they are damaged/defective or incorrect. If approved, we will offer a replacement (subject to availability) or a refund.


European Union 14-day cooling-off period

If the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason and without justification, subject to applicable laws. (This does not affect your rights regarding damaged/defective items.)


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
